Chief Financial Officer:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key leader on the executive leadership team, and be responsible for the leadership, direction, and management of the financial health of the overall organization.

This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, where you’ll have the opportunity to lead the finance function and make a significant impact on the growth and success of the business.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in senior financial management roles as well as demonstrated successful experience in a similar role leading a Finance team as a CFO;
  • Demonstrated success in leading finance teams and implementing financial procedures;
  • Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset;
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders;
  • Exceptional commercial acumen and strategic mindset;
  • Strong project management skills to lead large-scale financial initiatives;
  • Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools to support decision-making;
  • Long-term capital planning and investment strategy for major growth or expansion initiatives;
  • Understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and their impact on financial strategy and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being co-pilot of Chief Executive Officer, providing commercial insights along with operational reporting and analysis and input to strategy and planning matters;
  • Identifying continuous improvement projects focused on process automation, data analytics, cost optimization, and strategic growth;
  • Managing cashflow, including forecasting, working capital management, and maintaining banking relationships;
  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, highlighting key insights, and providing recommendations for improvement;
  • Driving the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed variance analysis and key performance insights to the business;
  • Establishing strong working relationships with executive stakeholders and the operations team;
  • Coordinating with external auditors, local and international banks, and tax advisors to facilitate annual compliance obligations;
  • Monitor return on investment (ROI) of mergers, acquisitions, and other capital projects to ensure financial targets are met;
  • Drive digital transformation in financial operations, ensuring that the company leverages advanced analytics, automation, and ERP systems for more accurate financial modeling and reporting;
  • Utilize related sector market forecasting tools to model the financial impact of fluctuations in sector prices, production costs, and regulatory changes.
